About me
Dr. Didem Ekici is an educator, researcher and author. She has held various leadership roles within the non-profit peacebuilding organization, Pax Populi, since 2013, currently serving on its board. She has co-authored a book called Person to Person Peacebuilding, Intercultural Communication and English Language Teaching analyzing the intersection of peacebuilding and intercultural competence through the “voices from the virtual intercultural borderlands”. She also served in the UNESCO Expert Consultations on Intercultural Competencies for Peacebuilding Panel. She is currently teaching at the University of San Francisco and the Peralta Community College District.
