Currently, UNESCO Chair on Cultural Diplomacy, Governance and Education; vice-Chair of UNESCO Education for Sustainable Peace; Director of International Relations, an assistant professor in the department of Political Science and International Relations at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Istanbul Aydin University, Istanbul, Turkiye. And, country director at the Society of Transnational Academic Researchers - STAR Scholars Network.
Studied Economics at Bogazici University, MBA at Bahcesehir University and Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations at Bahcesehir University. Did post-doctoral studies in the Political Science department in Carleton University.
More than 20 years of experience and advocacy in International Education and Youth Educational Travel. Dealt with more than 10000 students' study abroad program consultancy. Have been in more than 50 countries including North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. Served as former President at Pertevniyal Alumni Association (PLYD) and at Turkish International Educational Counsellors and Agencies Association (YEDAD) previously.
Ph.D. studies and academic knowledge in Political Science and International Relations discipline with International Education focus. Three years of practical work in Bahcesehir University Centre for Security Studies. Scholarly work on International Relations Theories, Public Diplomacy, Foreign Policy, Education, Comparative and International education, International student/academic mobility, Internationalization of higher education. Currently researching on the relationship between International Education and Soft Power and author of "Education and Power" Book Series. Teaching on International Relations Theories, Comparative Politics, Foreign Policy Analysis and Public Diplomacy.
